Renewal Pricing Explained

At Tenanta, we understand that many tenants remain in the same property beyond their initial fixed term. To ensure continuous protection for tenants, landlords, and letting agents, our guarantor service is renewable on an annual basis.

Annual Renewal

The Tenanta Guarantee is initially aligned with the fixed term of your tenancy (usually 12 months). If you choose to remain in the property after this period, the service must be renewed to maintain cover for your ongoing rental obligations.

When to Renew

Tenanta will contact you in advance of your renewal date to confirm whether you wish to continue the service. Renewal is required before the start of the new tenancy period (or before a tenancy extension takes effect).

Renewal Process

  • We review your tenancy status and any changes to your circumstances.
  • You are invited to confirm renewal and make payment of the guarantor fee (instalment plans may be available).
  • A new Guarantor Agreement is issued to reflect the extended tenancy term.

Renewal Fee

The renewal fee is calculated with reference to the rent amount being guaranteed and the length of the tenancy extension. Fees are payable either in full or in instalments, subject to availability. The renewal ensures that the Guarantor Agreement remains valid for the extended tenancy term, up to the maximum period permitted under the service.

Why Renewal Matters

  • Tenants – who may be in breach of their tenancy agreement if a guarantor is required but not in place.
  • Landlords – who would lose the benefit of ongoing rent guarantee protection.

Renewal provides clarity and certainty for all parties by ensuring continuity of cover.
